      I was tingly with excitement as my car crept up Richard’s winding drive for only the second time. I thought about the surprise I’d gotten last time, when my co-worker gave me her invitation to a secret party because she thought I needed some excitement in my workaholic CPA life. She was right, of course.

      But what I thought was a rave had turned out to be a Monopoly sex party and Richard, the host, held me enthralled as I obeyed his every command, since I was one of the losers of the game. It had been the hottest, most decadent night of my life, not only because of the shocking things I did, but because Richard was there.
