- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a cute bedtime story for those superhero fans. It shows the boy and batman going about their routine and doing sort of the same things. The boy puts on his pajamas, and Batman puts on his costume. The boy puts away his toys. Batman puts away the villains. The little boy looks at the clock to see it is bedtime, Batman sees the bat signal and so on. I think you get the idea here. As another reviewer mentioned, a companion book about batgirl or wonder woman would be great to show that little girls dream about being super heroes as well.
The illustrations are large, colourful and detailed. The little boy is quite cute, pretending he is batman. This could easily become a favourite bedtime story.
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Perfect bedtime story for the superhero fan, it takes a wannabe Batman through his bedtime rituals, superimposing Batman's corresponding actions in split screen format.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A fun book to help get kids to bed. :)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great read for my little heroes at bedtime.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5AUG 01 - Absolutely adorable bedtime story! A little boy gets ready for bed and all his preparations are mirrored on the opposite page by Batman. They have duties to perform, stuff to lock up (toys or villains), those who depend on them (the boy feeds his goldfish), and they prepare for the long night ahead. "Goodnight, Dark Night". Sweet! And make sure to wear your Batman pajamas while you read it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley. Thank you!!! :)This book was great and for me a little nostalgic. The story is simple, and easy for small children to read aloud. It follows one little boys nightly routine of getting ready to go to bed and mirrors it with Batman's own nightly quest for justice. He washes up, takes care of the people who count on him, and finally gets some well-earned rest. The book is excellently illustrated, and has lots of great details, with Batman villains hidden in the background. It really appealed to my two year old daughter and it brought back good memories of my childhood watching Batman on TV. I think it would appeal to any kid.
