    These words come from the inspiration of my heart. I welcome you to be part of my world to accept love in your heart because it will live forever through you and us and I. we may not be able to share it with everyone that we love, but at least we must try. If it is refused, it is not our fault, instead it is their fault.


    " love is not about you or me, but it is about you and me to stick together all the time. " these sentences come from my poem title " love is not about".


    Therefore , as long as we talk about love , we read about love and we dream about love, we will stick together for much more longer than ever to enjoy life.

    This is Webster Joseph’s second book. Writing poetry is a passion he has had since he was a teenager. He was born in Haiti and pursued education in New York City, where he received an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and telecommunication from New York City College of Technology in 1998 and 2000. Nursing is another field of interest for him. He lives in Queens.

      This book is dedicated to my mother and father and all my brothers : Luckens, Mackinson, and Partick and to the rest of my family members including friends and to all the employees at TBI unit including Vick, and Lacey, Lathania, Dyndial, Miss Suja, Yvonne, Neil etc. They all support me to follow my dream. I thank everyone as well as the members in the management at Jamaica Hospital to allow me to do a memorable presentation in April 2010 during the nurses’ week.

      I thank my wife, Myriam Michel, more than a million times for all the respect and love that she has provided to me. The inspiration of passion, love and admiration came from her. This helps me to express myself easier about what love should be and could be for anyone else who believes that love does exist as God is always there to assist us.

      I enjoy this new life that God has preserved for me. This is dedicated as well to everyone that I miss to give so much love to them and to anyone that is looking for more romance. I have a good heart and I am sharing it with every one who cares because I know I am.

      This is dedicated as well to my two kids, Melissa and Rihana. I love them very much. I want to tell them that there is a good reason why God has preserved my life. I am alive and that is what is important. And I want them to know that I am a true survivor.

      I write this book to take away my tears for not being able to be there for my kids during many years. My heart sings of love, dreams of love, and sheds tears of love. I learn to love, not to hate. I pray to forgive every day, but not to forget. I live to give respect and love and to fight back for them. I live and I live again.

      In this book my heart speaks before my mind and my mind thinks before I write. I write to ease my soul, to alleviate my pain and to make my readers enjoy their time reading this book. Many of you will find something related to you. In this life we know about hate and love. There is always a need to love and to celebrate love as in Valentine’s day.

      I thank all my future readers. I bring you joy to inspire the feeling of true love. Life is becoming so much difficult to focus on good intimate, and familial relationship. Lets take some time to please ourselves by reading these poems full of great inspiration of love and passion.

      I send a great thank you to all the teachers in the school that I had visited, studied and contacted for the past years. The following schools are : Queensborough Community College, Excelsior College, Southern Westchester Boces, Allen School, New York City Technical, Kingsborough Community College, and Apex Technical School.

      I want to continue thanking anyone who willing to help this poetry book to become a success. And I want to thank God to give me a chance to be able to accomplish one of my dream—to publish this book.
