Liber Draconis

Prepare yourself to enter the deeper mysteries of the Dragon and enter into an order that is as old as Sumer or Babylon.

From a Dragon mystic of the 52nd Degree comes an invitation to learn teachings passed down from Dragon to student.  For those who find that they are of Dragon-kin, welcome to a circle which is both magick and ancient myth, far beyond just the physical or spiritual.  The realms ahead are full of deeply woven paths beyond what you could possibly imagine.  Mother nature is the Dragon who guards the final gate to infinity.  It is through her that such realms beyond sight exist, and by her teachings, that we may learn how to reach such realms.  Come with me and follow the Dragons to the realms that are higher! Come learn the mysteries from the world serpent Tiamat!

So what is the Dragon?  The answer is both simple and complex.  Dragons appear in ancient myth as hoarders of treasures, or in this case knowledge.  To slay a Dragon is to join a quest that will take you from a foolish knight or warrior, to a mighty prince or king.  This represents the gathering of treasures from the Dragon’s hoard, which transforms the brave into someone of valor or greatness or wisdom.  The quest is an important part in the ancient myth of Dragons.  By picking up this book you too have been challenged to take up the quest!

The Dragon is, first and foremost, the world serpent.  In most pagan myths the Dragon coils around to bite its own tail, which completes a circle or ouroboros.  This Dragon represents Mother Nature or Mother Earth and in a more modern take on it, infinity!

In one translation of one of the oldest myths of the Dragon.  The Babylonian god Marduk slayed the great Dragon Tiamat to claim his princely title as Ruler of Earth.  Marduk was a god-king of Babylon whose true identity has faded into myth.  A myth, as the story goes, of his own creation.  You see Marduk wanted to be the most revered god-king so he handed down to the Babylonian priest caste the tale of his mythic battle with the Dragon Tiamat.  Now what makes this ancient myth so important is that Marduk was actually the name of a celestial god/planet.  And the Dragon Tiamat was also the name of a celestial goddess/planet.  In fact if you search deeper into the different versions of this Babylonian myth, you will find that the Dragon Tiamat was represented as the planet Earth and the god-king Marduk was represented as the mythic planet Nibiru.  This above all else shows that as far back as can be remembered the Dragon is the planet Earth or rather the mother goddess of Earth Tiamat.  This link is very important when practicing Dragon Magick, as Tiamat is the head goddess of all Dragons!  I will reference her often.

So what is the Dragon?  She is the spiritual current of Nature and rather of magick.  What’s more important is that she is the planet/celestial.  All other planets/celestials have Dragon energies associated with them.

What are Dragon energies?  They are energies related with the Dragon/nature.  The best way to explain this is to reference one such specific occurrence.  The Earth energy grid commonly known as ley lines, is also known as Dragon energies.  The planet Earth has specific places upon her where natural or rather supernatural occurrences exist.  Ley lines are actually part of a great grid that stretches from pole to pole in longitude and latitude.  Where ley lines meet are where, so called vortexes appear.  These places can be thought about as the planet’s aura or chakra nodes.  Within these planetary nodes great healing can occur, both physically and spiritually. As well as the fact that the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest.  These nodes have long been used by ancient peoples as places of gatherings and places of worship.

Since the Dragon is the Earth and the ley lines are earth energy nodes, then it goes to reason that these are what may be called Dragon energies.  But it doesn’t actually stop there because each celestial planet has it’s own aura or rather ley line energy grid… these are Dragon energies too.  These auras stretch out and vibrate energies throughout the Universe interacting with all life.  To speak of nature or magick is to speak of the Dragon!  These are intertwined and inseparable to the Draconic Magician/Practitioner.

Still there is the question, what is the Dragon?  The Dragon is magick!  Dragon myths often refer to this.  That Dragon scales are powerful, or so on, imbued with magick.  Myths that talk about a Dragons claw as have healing or poisons properties.  Myths that talk about a Dragon’s breath as being of supernatural fire or smoke or fog.  In fact that right there is the most common of all the myths, that little part about Dragons being Supernatural.  That is what the Dragon is, it is the supernatural, the realm beyond just the natural or rather the mundane.  Dragon myths almost always accompany the idea of magick.  With spell casters, witches, and wizards or druids and knights or demi gods and giants or even aliens, Anunnaki or Nephilim.  In fact mentioning Dragons typically means that you are mentioning magick or rather that you are mentioning a magical being.  One is not exclusive to the other!

Still the question is, what is the Dragon?  Growing up as a child many things were sort of common knowledge.  Children act out and children play games and children have imaginary friends.  And that right there is what is at the heart of what the Dragon is, children have imaginary friends!  Dragons are at the very heart of the human imagination.  Children imagine them, adults may dream of them, yet society dismisses them as myth and/or fantasy.  As a child growing up my grandparents told me stories of Disney World and because they knew that I liked to imagine playing with Dragons, they bought me a stuffed animal of the Dragon named Figment.  That is part of what the Dragon is, imagination.  In fact just like magick the term is inseparable from the description of a Dragon!  Dragon: an Imaginary Magical Creature…

Is that all, what the Dragon is?  Well no, actually there is more… There are many dimensions that are talked about sort of common place.  Dimensions one and ten are typically filled in for some reason as if they are already discovered.  Yet dimension eleven is most commonly referred to as the dimension of the imagination.  Why you may ask?  Well obviously they haven’t filled it in yet…  But more importantly it is clearly labeled that because it is beyond the means to describe it.  In essence it is the infinite!  It is beyond the conscious and more in the realm of dreams.  And the Dragon fits squarely, or rather roundly, into this realm.  Along with ancient myth and fantasy the Dragon is some human dream imagined about from our subconscious mind.

This is rather crudely pointed out yet it still does not answer the question of what is the Dragon?  Well in a sense the Dragon vibrates at a higher brainwave than us.  The Dragon vibrates at the Human subconscious level.  Basically the world of dreams.  But that is not necessarily the whole of it. The Dragon is on a whole other dimension or plane of existence than us.  It is only reached by dream state or by magick.  This right here is important to remember while on the quest of the Dragon!  In a sense Dragons are multidimensional beings that cross over from the dream world or the imaginary dimension eleven.  Both can be said are true yet the more important thing is left out: magick!  Yes that thing that is the reason that you are reading this book.  Dragons are magick…  They come from another dimension that is 4th or 5th density.  We are mainly 3rd density, some are in touch with the 4th density.  It is those who are in touch with the 4th density that this book will be useful for.

You see the 4th density is Time, of which I will discuss in
