Introducing The Compound Effect
Everyone wants success, but not all can experience it. The difference lies in the plan of action. In the famous story of the race between the hare and the tortoise, the slower one won the competition. The same principle applies in real life. Being slow does not mean that we would be less likely to reach the finish line; it only means that we are taking the time to learn and strategize. After all, learning and educating oneself is a vital part of any success story. Commercial marketing has implanted a myth in people’s minds about failure and success. For the effect to payoff, we must be willing to exert more effort and patiently wait. On top of that, being too comfortable makes us lose the passion to move forward. After experiencing long but temporary periods of wealth, we tend to stop the things we did to get us there. Practicing the Compound Effect will teach us not to
