Look Out The Window
I sat looking out the window where I often read my devotionals and write what is placed within my thinking. In the quietness of my prayer time I became aware of a thought that seemed to be speaking to me. Let me share that thought with you.
As I talked to the Lord, I heard myself saying: Lord, I need to clean the window to my soul in order to see the beauty on the other side of my life. You know I cry within my being and fog seems to cover the Light placed before me. I know Your Light is within my reach, but it does not seem attainable this day. Forgive me. Amen.
I continued my time of thought and prayer. Please join me as I continue to place thoughts and feelings into my journal:
I feel that many times we do not recognize we are in the presence of God.
As we look out the window of our lives, we may gaze upon the beauty of a hummingbird hovering in the air as it gets nourishment from a flower… surely we are in the presence of God.
When we see the power of a river pushing through what lies before it… creating a great majestic waterfall… we are in the presence of God.
When a spring rain refreshes a thirsty garden… the presence of God is before us. When someone smiles… surely we are in the presence of God and when we pray… we are in the presence of God.
When we rest before God let us remember all He has done for us.
As I rest before God this day, I will be thankful for the blessing of sharing His gifts of thought, prayer and artistic expressions as I place within these pages two booklets of art. The first booklet is called "The Beauty Within Each Season. The other booklet is called
Butterflies On The Wind." I am also sharing some new thoughts for those who may have already read the booklets I have mentioned.
As you read this book, may the presence of God be with you as you become aware of His presence within your life. "Look
