    Chapter 1

The sun shone bright; the heat beating on her fur covered back. Joy radiated through her body as she raced across the open meadow. Heavy breathing alerted her to the closeness of the other. She looked over her shoulder and was not surprised to see how near the big male was to her. She put on the brakes, tucked her head and somersaulted. Extending her legs and paws, she encased the big male in her hold, taking him with her she came to a stop straddle his massive body. They were both human and very naked. Got ya. she giggled in delight, bending down and capturing his lip with hers.

Michael wrapped his arms tenderly around Cassandra’s body and rolled them so his body now shielded hers from any prying eyes. Who’s got who? he cocked his brow.

Cassandra pushed his long sun kissed hair back from his eyes. We have each other. She whispered raising her shoulders from the cushioned ground. She again tasted his lush lips. He was divine; she could happily spend her days kissing the man.

I love you Cassandra. Michael nuzzled her neck. She smelled sweet; vibrant like lilacs. Never before had he uttered those words to a woman other than his mother.

Cassandra smiled. I love you too. She tipped her head as he nipped at her neck before lapping it tenderly with his tongue.

He pushed himself up and rested his weight on his hands as he gazed into her beautiful green eyes. I want to spend the rest of our lives waking up together, snuggling curled around each other every night. And more than anything, I want to make lots and lots of beautiful babies with you. Marry me? He waited breathlessly for her to answer. He hadn’t meant to ask her today and didn’t even have the ring with him. But she looked so beautiful lying naked amongst the wild flowers, her golden hair entwined with the petals, that he couldn’t help himself. I’m sorry sweetheart, I botched this I don’t even have your ring.

She placed her fingers over his lips. Tears fell gently, rolling unashamedly down her cheeks. A ring is not important. I don’t need a ring to know that you love me. She pulled his head down to meet hers. Her fingers entangled in his shoulder length air. The kiss was soft, sweet and tender. His whiskers were rough against her smooth cheeks as she rubbed her face alongside his, much like a cat rubs along a human’s leg claiming ownership.

He wanted to make love with her so badly that the ache in his hardened erection was almost painful. The need to be inside of her bordering on unbearable. But he didn’t want to pressure her with his love making. Marriage was something he didn’t take lightly and he wanted her, needed her to feel the same undeniable need to become one.

You know that I love you with all of my heart. she gazed into his eyes, her hands on both of his cheeks.

    I know, he nodded. I feel a
