Chapter 1
Child, awaken
Simone had awoken by a statue and thought
she had a dream, but Elena had told her the whole story and clearly it had not been a dream.
Simone and Elena had visited the city of shadows,
travelled to a small mountain to retrieve a stone of strange ability only to have it stolen,
followed the warlord who took it to his castle and escaped back into the regular world from the realm of shadows.
Elena had then told Simone of the stories from the past brought to her by a mysterious necklace and
Simone learned of the past.
Avaha, a noble warrior from the dark kingdom
also referred to as the dark realm
in the realm of shadows who changed sides and became the mother of the shadows.
Avaha had blue piercing eyes with straight black hair parted in the middle reaching her waist.
She had an armour of a dark shade of iron
and it was covered in spikes each longer than a finger and with about as much distance in between.
Her shoulder guards like a quarter of a sphere, covered in spikes and her skin as pale as snow,
draped in black silk when not in armour.
Lyssa her best friend whom in the heat of battle chose her friend over all the other allegiances.
Whose eyes were a piercing almost luminous
green, and fought with a glaive while Avaha used a sword. With hair parted on her left, hanging down over her right shoulder and had an armour of polished steel with black edge-lines, the metal pulled out in elegant shapes almost like leaves.
The woman who had taken Deirdre’s head.
Deirdre with her black armour covered in sharp blades, with shoulder-guards like bent halves of a cylinder featuring sharp blades going from back to front. Silver lines in the black, revealing their position. Her eyes yellow with a red line along the outer edge of the iris forming a ring.
Her hair in levels created by over donut shaped objects, placing a metal ring on the inside,
Then bringing it back out to proceed to the next
layer and so on, ending in a knot with a ponytail
brushing her shoulders.
Her weapon a combination of four pronged tongi axe and a spiked mace.
She refused to abandon the dark side, tried
