    A MARVELOUS THING

I’m just a speck in Your creation,

But You know me on a personal basis.

You know my heart and what I do,

And can pick me out from all earthly faces.

It blows my mind that the Creator of all

Wants to have one-on-one time with me.

You tell me that I’m Your precious child,

And I’m a part of Your royal family.

You have pulled me up out of the muck

And put me on solid ground.

You’ve washed me up, by the blood of Jesus,

And with royalty I have been crowned!

Oh, what a marvelous thing it is

    To know the victory that’s been won;

Not by my own feeble efforts,

But by the act of Your precious Son!

    About the Author

    Foreword

    Dear Reader,

It is an honor to share this amazing book with you. Can you imagine God talking to you personally and you writing down what He is saying to you? Can you envision conversing with Him, laughing with Him, and understanding how real, personable, caring and compassionate He is?  I think you will be glad to know how much He loves you. Yes, You!

This book is one with the Lord—the living word—a first-hand experience ordained by God for you. How blessed we are to read this book, because it explains how important we are to God, our creator.

Our Father God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit speak to you and help you understand God’s love. God knows everything about you. Every person created and conceived has a purpose, and every person matters to Him.

Before you were born, I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 NLT

This book contains a powerful message from God to his people. He has given Patricia S. Welsh His friendship, an understanding, and the ability to pen this beautiful inspirational message.

The Holy Spirit helps us establish a spiritual relationship with the Lord, so that we can teach in the marketplace and get His message of love to those with an ear to hear and a foot to follow. The journey has just begun, but time is very, very short! We must make it a priority to take His light out into the world right now!

I pray that as you read this book you will be enlightened and let the word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. –Colossians 3:16 & Romans 15:13 KJV

Remember, our faith is the victory that overcomes the spirit of the world.

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4.

The journey begins by taking the first step. Enjoy!"

    May God richly bless you,

    Rosann Pavlov

    Stay vigilant.

    Introduction

Did you ever think to yourself that there must be something more; that the Church, Jesus’ Ekklesia, in His time was so different than what you experience in church today? Did you ever wonder why it’s so hard to know what your purpose is; to do what you think you’re supposed to do; that the scriptures you read don’t make sense based on what you’ve learned in church?

These are all questions that I’ve asked myself over the years. In 2009 I started a quest to find the answers to those questions. I watched many videos and heard many recordings of people who seem to have confidence in who they are in Christ, what their purpose is and actively showing God’s love to the people around them. I asked God to show me how to have what they have. His reply through scripture was, Seek Me first.

My first thought was how do I do that? The second thought was what does that even mean? I read a comment by someone that said you must have a personal relationship with God, and one of the best ways to do that is to journal; to set a specific time of day to spend time with the Lord, to pray and listen for His still, quiet voice, then write down what He says.

Journaling wasn’t something I had an interest in doing, so I tabled that. But, as time went on and I still didn’t have a breakthrough, I decided to give it a try. The results have been astonishing.

For over a year, I have been keeping journals of my thoughts and conversations with God. I’ve labeled them My Time With God. That’s what it is; time I’ve committed to praise and worship God, to quiet my mind and listen to His quiet, calm voice. At first, that was the most difficult part of our time together, calming my mind and activating my spirit so I could commune (spend time) with Him. It gets easier the more you do it.

It’s amazing the topics we’ve covered, the visions I’ve seen, and the poems, drawings and paintings that I’ve envisioned. He is an amazing God; so much more than we’ve been led to believe! It astonishes me the truths in the Bible that no one ever told me about or had explained to me. I call them the hidden truths of the Bible. That is exactly what they are, truths hidden by Satan’s deception, lies, and his infiltration in the modern day church.

One of our conversations dealt with that very topic. God was explaining something to me and I asked Him, Why was I never taught this before? I’m 67 years old. I grew up in the church. God’s answer was this,

Well, because Satan doesn’t want you to know this stuff. He’s infiltrated the Church, spoke his lies, and people have believed them.

For the last decade, God has been showing me and teaching me how to be a true disciple of Jesus. It’s been a blessing beyond anything I could have imagined. God, Creator of everything, wants to have a personal relationship with me. Who am I? It reminds me of what David said in Psalm 8:3-4: When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him . . .

David, as I, was amazed that God would even consider us, let alone give us dominion over the works of His hand, over everything of this earth.

God’s message to ALL people is this:

He, God of everything, loves us, is concerned about us, wants to spend time with us, take care of us and wants to bless us beyond measure. He wants a personal relationship with EVERY person.

    Wow, how awesome is that?

I think it would be fair to say that most of God’s people really don’t have a true sense of how to be a disciple of God. They don’t know how to have a personal relationship with Him, to understand what exactly happened when Jesus suffered and died for us and WHY. They don’t know what God’s will is and how to do it, and more importantly, how to tell others about God, and do what Jesus did and more.

Through my journals, God has been teaching me these things and now wants to teach them to you, through this book. He has conveyed a very important message to His Church. He loves His Church, but He’s not really happy with us right now. In fact, he’s very disappointed.

He wants to save a billion people in this last great worldwide revival, and He needs His Church to step up and take His message and LOVE to the world. Unfortunately, most of us are asleep at the wheel. We are NOT being little Christs to the world, and that is what we Christians are supposed to be.

My hope for this book is that it will rekindle your faith, inspire you, and help you understand what being a disciple of God really is. I hope you’ll have a deep personal relationship with Him in which you can intimately talk with each other, so that He can teach you, guide you, comfort you, and show you just how deeply He loves and cherishes you, bringing amazing insights and wonders into your life.

In case you believe, or have been taught, that God doesn’t talk to individual people, it says differently in John 16:13,

When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

I hope that you will take His message and love out into the world and make a huge difference in people’s lives. We need to do it now. We are running out of time.

    As God keeps telling me:

WAKE UP CHURCH, TIME IS VERY SHORT!!

I’m grateful, and humbled, that God has chosen me to bring His message of Love to you. It is a great honor, but also daunting. Who am I? However, He knows me better than I know myself. . .

So, okay God; Your will be done, Your words written; and thanks for never giving up on us!

    Author’s Note

Throughout this book the reader will see numerous quotes that come from conversations I had with God. His statements will be in italics and mine in regular print.

Even though God spoke directly to me in my journals, answering my questions, and helping me, He wants me to tell you that the messages in my journals are for you, too.

When you read this book, imagine that God is talking directly to you because His message IS for you.

    Chapter 1

    Getting to Know God

How long did it take you to know your best friend? Did it happen the first day you decided to start a friendship? No. It took time to get to know, to understand and completely trust that person. The longer you’re together, the stronger your bond is, the deeper your relationship. It’s the same with God.

Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, like me, or have given your life to Jesus recently, the most important thing to do is to get to know Him.

Why He Wants Us to Know Him

WE WERE CREATED TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM. This is what He told me,

I created everyone so that I could commune with you all and take care of you. . . I love all of my creation, especially humans, for you were created to be with me.

The Biblical meaning of commune is this:

Commune means to focus on God, converse, talk, often with profound intensity, intimate communication or rapport as sharing your heart and mind with God in prayer: an interchange of ideas or sentiments, derived from French comun meaning – common, to share.¹

I’m glad commune is derived from a word that means common, because that’s what I am. I am not some special, big important person in the world. However, I am important to God, just as you.

HE LONGS FOR A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. That is why He sent His son to earth to become the Redeemer, the Messiah for us all, for every human being. Jesus became the bridge between God and us and made it possible for humans to commune with Him and have a personal relationship again. That is only possible through His Holy Spirit. God told me,

My Son came to earth as a human and lived as a man so that he could become the atonement for humankind’s sins. When he did that, he made it possible for human’s spirits to connect with my Spirit so they can come back to me and experience eternity again, so they can have a personal relationship with me.

HE YEARNS FOR US TO GIVE HIM OUR HEARTS, not just to profess that He is our God. He wants to take care of us.

When I started journaling, most of God’s messages were about His love and care for us. In His very first message to me, He spoke of this.

Giving your heart to me means being still and knowing that I AM God, and ALSO knowing that I love you no matter what you do or don’t do.

He longs for us to love Him back through a personal relationship with Him.

GOD MISSES US! He misses our spiritual interaction. He mentioned this to me in one of our conversations.

Most people are too busy or too lazy to have a personal relationship with me . . . that breaks my heart. How would you feel if you loved someone and they stopped calling, never spent time with you, never asked how you were doing or how you were feeling? What if that person never made an effort to communicate with you, unless they wanted something from you? Well, that’s how I feel.

HE WANTS US TO DO HIS WILL so that others can be saved. We have to know Him to know what His will is. He told me,

My people can only know my will by developing their spiritual senses. The Bible tells what my will is, but my people will not understand it if they only use their carnal minds when they read. The Truth is revealed by Holy Spirit and He can only do that through someone’s spirit.

One of the hardest things for me to grasp, even though I’ve been a Christian over five decades, is the fact that God thinks I’m worthy to have a relationship with Him. Often times, we, His own people, don’t think we are worthy enough to stand in His presence, let alone have a personal relationship with Him. Nevertheless, He addressed that in a message to me.

You always seem surprised when we tell you how much you mean to us, how beautiful and precious you are to us.

(Note: God often uses the pronoun us; as a triune God.)

It’s as if you don’t feel worthy enough to be cared for by us, to be loved by us.

I told Him that maybe that was in the back of
