In this course, I want to share with you my five-step process for setting wellness goals. Central to this process are what I call H.A.P.I.E. Goals.
H.A.P.I.E. goals are a unique spin on SMART goals, a framework designed to help you set and maintain consistency in your objectives. In short, the H.A.P.I.E. Goal Method is a five-step process designed to help you set and pursue goals that are achievable and productive. In this course, we’ll talk about the method mostly in the context of health, but the H.A.P.I.E. method is conducive to any goals you want to set; if you're ready to take the reins of your health, wellness, or personal development journey, H.A.P.I.E goals are just the tool you need.
Let me ask you a question. Have you ever agreed to participate in something challenging, only to feel so overwhelmed that you either just gave up or didn't even start? You’re not alone. Trust me, been there, done that.
Life can get pretty crazy, and even though we want to focus on our food, fitness, and mindset routines, it's easy to end up beating ourselves up or facing emotions and fears that hold us back or lead us to self-sabotage.
But don't stress! Take a deep breath. This challenge is all about keeping things simple and doable. Sure, it'll require some commitment, planning, and participation to get the most out of it and kickstart your way into a new weekly wellness routine you've always dreamed of. But here's the deal: Take it one day at a time, and use this guide to keep you on track, and you’ll manage just fine. You've got this.
