Dr. Kevin Drury
Kevin Drury was gloriously saved in a Motel 6 second-story room in Yuma, AZ. Kevin was pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a Major League Baseball player and was at Spring Training in the San Diego Padres AA camp. Jesus walked into his life in April of 1980 and began the ongoing process of spiritual transformation that continues to this day. Kevin is a passionate disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ who is passionate about discipling others to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He believes Christ is Heaven's model and every Christian's role model for life and ministry. Through the non-profit Revolution Movement, he leads people to follow Jesus and find His purpose for their life. Kevin is the author of nine books, including "Welcome To The Wilderness", "Leaving The Land Of Your Limitations", "Christianity The Way Jesus Lived It", "Promises And Prayers For Our Posterity", "Sermon On The Mount", "Devotional For Disciples [Based on SOTM]", "Who Is The Israel Of God", and "Jesus And Jerusalem". Author’s Exhortation
It is said it takes twenty-one days to develop a good habit. I have written this forty-six-day Devotional to put my own exclamation point on your dedication to disciplining yourself in becoming a more dedicated follower of Jesus Christ!
This Devotional is based on Matthew 5 - 7, which is the opening salvo of instruction Jesus used to breakdown the mindset of His twelve handpicked Jewish disciples, so that He could present to them His mind.
To understand the Kingdom of God [Heaven] Jesus was instituting in His teaching, the disciples would have to process each shift along the path unfolding before them, or they would never make it from the pit to the palace, from spiritual bankruptcy to spiritual maturity, from immature imperfections to absolute perfection, and become like their heavenly Father.
This Devotional is taken from my book, SERMON ON THE MOUNT, The Constitution Of The Kingdom. These two works are great partner resources to help you maximize your study of Jesus’ foundational teaching.
