AUTHOR’S NOTE

As Salaatu Sirrul Asraar is a Compendium of Duroods upon our Master – Our Prophet Muhammad Mustapha (saw).

Duroods being the champion among all forms of ibadat since our Creator Himself and the Angels send durood upon our Beloved Prophet (saw). The idea at the onset of presenting a momentous work like this is to do a collective set of duroods so that transporting them around as well as searching for your favourites would prove to be a pleasure. Thus the Author of this work has collected those duroods most frequently read by saints and the pious leaders throughout the history of man.

The Brilliance of putting such a set of works together lies in the fact that everything in the lifetimes of our Beloved Prophet (saw) has been mentioned here – Each beginning with a salaat and salaam. In doing this everything created on behalf of our Master of this journey has been honoured and in turn is honouring him. To you the recitor, you are the waseela through which this incredible act will be taking place. So recite in pleasure – recite in peace knowing that the workings of Allah (swt) will be taking place through your tongues – bringing showers of Barakah to descend upon you and your families. It is also as a means to remove all ill-hope and calamities, freeing you from negativity so that you are able to achieve peace and tranquillity in your daily living - as well as to raise you spiritually.

The first set of volumes appear as three – Each volume has been carefully and painstakingly put together to benefit the readers both in this world and in the Aakhirah. The volumes appear as follows: Shams’ud’duha, Bad’rud’duja and Nurul’huda. These three volumes of duroods are a compendium of duroods perfect for any library, as a worthy gift for any function, and especially to be given out for distribution purposes. You never know how many lives might change because you took the initiative to support the cause of Allah (swt) and the people of Allah.

SHAMS’UD’DUHA

This is the first of the three volumes. In it you can expect to find a collection of Hadiths that will bring to you mind-blowing facts on the importance our Creator has placed on the recitals of salawaat. Also compiled for your benefit is over One Hundred Duroods written by our Saints and ulama alike. Shams’ud’duha is a compilation of works written with the intention to bring the soul out of the darkness towards the light. In it is shiffa for every illness, or desires of the human heart. Those who have accomplished a link with our Creator have sworn by these duroods - They have confirmed that these duroods have freed them from calamities, illnesses and blockages in their lives. The author has collected the cr`eme de la cr`eme of duroods and captured under this banner. We hope that you will find your favourite among them. The soul goes through a lot of emotional distresses as well as lots of negative phases and cycles. We have found via experience that these duroods have had a phenomenal impact on the heart, mind and soul. Stalling the process of negativity and bringing in new energy for you to work your distresses out. These duroods are also recited with the intention of removals of veils from the heart so that the seeker can experience great spiritual openings. Furthermore those having experienced the benefit of these duroods have sworn by the fact that barakah had increased and they felt lightness and brightness in their homes. Many have also reported household arguments and silly disagreements came to an end and families came together during the recitals.

Beyond this also are reports of many having seen both dreams and visions of the Holy Prophet (saw) - As well as having heard His (saw) Blessed voice giving them advice, instructions and encouraging them along. These are all only but a few of the benefits of the recital of all three volumes of these duroods that one may look forward to experiencing. After this Allah (swt) knows best what other gifts, spiritually or worldly He will bestow on the recitors. Ameen Ya Rabbul Alamien.

BENEFITS OF DUROOD RECITAL

HADITH FROM DALAUL KHAIRAAT

1. Huzur (saw) has stated that the best of people in his sight and closest to him (saw) are those who recite the most amount of duroods upon him (saw).

2. Huzur (saw) said, that those that recite durood upon him (saw), the angels will continue reciting duroods upon Huzur (saw) on their behalf – until the person stops. Now it depends upon each person as to how many durood they wish to send.

3. It is narrated: Huzur (saw) came home one day – His blessed face was shining with happiness and he said that Jibraeel (a.s) has just informed him - If any among you recite durood, then Jibraeel (a.s) will recite 10 duroods on their behalf. And if any one of them send Salaams upon him (saw) then Jibraeel (a.s) will recite 10 salaams and send it to the Holy Prophet (saw).

4. Huzur (saw) has said that if any among his ummah recite durood in abundance on a Jummah – then ten good deeds will be written for them and 10 sins will be wiped out for them.

5. Huzur (saw) has narrated that Allah (swt) has confirmed that if any among his ummah gives reply during the invitation of azaan – and recites a durood upon Huzur (saw) after azaan together with the dua after azaan – then Allah (swt) promises shifa and the protection of this person on the Day of Resurrection.

6. Narrated by Abu Sulaiman Dari: If anyone has any desires (wishes) then they should recite duroods then make dua for their desires and then recite durood again. Allah (swt) will fulfill the wishes of that person. Even if it be that the person recites durood upon Huzur (saw) without making the dua, trusting that Allah (swt) knows their heart’s condition – then too their wishes will be fulfilled because of the duroods.

7. It is narrated by Huzur (saw) that anyone who recites durood 100 times on a Jummah then 80 years of his sins will be forgiven.

8. A few Sahaba’s (r.a) have narrated that there is no place or no gathering in which duroods are recited that a scent as beautiful is born. It reaches out to the heavens. The angels then announce that the scent is coming from a gathering in which duroods are being recited.

9. In a few narrated incidents it is stated – that any believing man or woman who begins reciting of duroods – that a door will open in the heavens and the doors will open all the way to the Throne. And not a single angel will be left untouched by it. They will all recite duroods upon Huzur (saw) and astaghfar for that person who read the durood first - until Allah (swt) asks them to stop. Furthermore Huzur (saw) stated that if anyone is experiencing problems and difficulties – then if they recite duroods. It will remove darkness, sadness and hurt. It will also extend their wealth and rizq – and will make their desires come true.

10. Huzur (saw) has said that since he (saw) came on earth – an angel chosen especially for a special task was put onto earth as well. The duty of the angel is to keep a watch out for those of the Ummah who recite durood out of love for Huzur (saw). The angel then says to such a person: O’ you who recites out of love for Huzur (saw), may Allah’s Blessings and Mercy descend upon you as well.

11. Somebody asked the Holy Prophet (saw) what is the meaning of reciting, Innallahi wa malaikatihi usaloonnal nabi........? Huzur (saw) said that this is from the Treasures of the Hidden Knowledge. If you had not asked me about this blessed ayat I would not have opened this secret to you. Think of this ayat as 2 angels that have been specially assigned to me. That if in front of a believer a discussion about me ensues and the listener recites durood immediately upon hearing my name being mentioned – then the 2 angels make this dua on such a person: May Allah wipe out all your sins and allow His Mercy and barakah to descend upon you.

Then Allah (swt) and all the other angels answer: Ameen! And whoever hears my name being mentioned in a gathering and the people do not recite durood then the same 2 angels say: May Allah never forgive your sins! Then Allah and the angels in the heavens say: Ameen, to this dua and furthermore they say: Sub’han’allah! What kind of a destiny must such a person hold where Allah and the angels are there to make dua and free the people but they receive such a curse instead.

Following up on all duroods written by the hands of history is a list of Shijrah Shareefs - An ode written in memory of all the Great People that passed through this world into the Higher Order World of Allah (swt) to serve Him. The recitation of these Shijrah Shareefs is meant as a means to allow the Barakah (energy) of the Higher order Masters to flow down the chain to be received by the recitor. In this particular recitation a durood upon the Most Beloved of creation, Master of all of these saintly guides of the Universe - The Holy Prophet (saw), has been attached to each of the names in the Shijrah. That we are the Blessed nation of our Beloved Prophet (saw) that will be honored to recite a durood on behalf of
