WHAT IS #OKR?
Objectives and Key Results. #OKR is a framework-- not an #Agile framework-- but a framework for setting and achieving goals. It's a collaborative process, a powerful tool used by many to achieve desired results.

First, defining Objectives in the context of #OKR. Objectives are pretty simple-- it's what needs to be done. They need to be clear, firm, and be something you feel motivated to work towards. The importance of a proper Objective-- one that's both communicated efficiently and created effectively-- is paramount to completing it.

Key Results are the second half of #OKR, and are a little more complicated. They're ways to measure progress in a way that's verifiable and clear-cut. They're steps along the way to meeting an Objective and built with realism in mind, not idealism.

What are the benefits of #OKR? #OKR is fast and simple. It's easy to #implement and it works almost universally, being a flexible way of tracking what needs to be done. It allows for an alignment in an organization-- a clear vision and path to be followed. Due to the simplistic nature of #OKR, goals can be set quickly, as a once-and-done approach that takes little manpower. It promotes transparency and concise communication because everyone knows what to work towards. Finally, it ensures discipline.
