Raising teens is a tremendous gift we are blessed with.  However, we can use this very thought of feeling grateful to have children as a self imposed guilt trip when we begin to feel worn down, tired or simply clueless when it comes to raising our teenage girls. 
 
So what do we do? We pretend everything is okay because we don’t want to seem ungrateful and that we need will ourselves to suck it up mom and things will be okay!  It’s a  lonely journey when we isolate ourselves behind that lie.
