The cargo ship Blath na Mara being loaded from New Pier alongside the Galway Harbour Company offices. Built in 1983, the ship's role is to carry general cargo to and from the Aran Islands.

Slipway on Rinmore Point, at the southwest corner of Galway Harbour Enterprise Park. The slipway was built in 2009 on reclaimed land in connection with the Volvo Ocean Race which had a stopover in Galway in that year. Plans have been put... (more)
