Like most startups, Carro’s path to Collaborative Commerce was unconventional. Carro launched on the Shopify App Store with a focus on Influencer Partnerships, making it easy for brands to discover which influencers already loved their products and build long-term relationships with them. Carro saw a ton of adoption from brands and solidified their presence in the Shopify ecosystem. When COVID-19 hit, Carro looked hard look at their product roadmap and asked themselves how they could help brands weather the tough times ahead, and thus, cross-store selling was born.
