Andrew HI Jenn, Linda, and Chris:

So glad you all liked The Gargoyle, and thanks for taking the time to let me know….

Jenn: we've talked about the tattoo before -- you know I think it's very cool.
Linda: no movie is planned for The Gargoyle… but you never know what the future holds. And thanks for buying multiple copies of the book…. :-)
Chris: Good luck with your writing. Keep at it! (But get to school on time…!)

All the best,
Andrew

Christopher Alonso Hello Andrew,

I just wanted to say thank you for the gooseflesh-inducing book. I could not stop reading, and I found myself losing track of time, even arriving late to class once or thrice. It blew me away. I only hope that what I write can be as good as this book.

- Chris

 Linda (Miss Greedybooks) Hi Andrew,
I hope your next book is coming along, I cannot wait to read it - I agree with so many others from all the comments here! Will they make a movie from The Gargoyle? If so I hope you keep control & can make it just like you pictured when you wrote it. Do you have anyone in mind that you would like to play the roles?

Thank you so much for writing such a great book. I have had to buy new copies, as the ones loaned out usually do not get returned to me.

Jenn Guest Hi Andrew,

All the best,
And happy new year,
Andrew

Cassie I’m sure you know where the inspiration for my profile picture came from. I can’t tell you how much I loved The Gargoyle! The sad part is, none of the other books I’m currently reading seem to compare. I hope to see new work from you soon. Your writing truly is wonderful.

message 56: by Ashley

Ashley Lynne Hello there!
Earlier today I was re-reading some of my favorite parts of "The Gargoyle" and when I got to the glassblower story I cried...I always cry at that part.
It's such a beautiful book and I cannot thank you enough for writing it!

message 55: by Andrew

Andrew Working all the time, but it will be years before I'm finished Amanda...

message 54: by Amanda

Amanda Hi Andrew,
I read The Gargoyle back in '08 and still think about it from time to time. It's definitely one of those books that doesn't let you go, even after you're done reading it. That said, any idea when we will be getting another fantastic book from you? I've know you're working on a sophmore project but haven't heard any updates in a while. (No pressure, of course! I just really enjoy your style of writing.)
- Amanda

message 53: by Andrew

Andrew Thanks for the comment, Fabian. I'm glad you liked it. And also, thanks for the review.

message 52: by Fabian (last edited Nov 25, 2010 06:26AM)

Fabian Davy I've finished the book and am very impressed. There's a sense of resolution and of hope. This is a book that was done and done. It would be wonderful if there is a sequel, but if there is one - I wonder if it will ruin the experience of the first.

I contributed a review and I hope that will increase the ratings.

Write more dude.

message 51: by Andrew

Andrew Keep reading for that translation - it's about ten pages later.

message 50: by Fabian

Fabian Davy Andrew!

F**k you man for messing with my mind. It was such a long time since I had been blown away by a book. The last being Mitch Albom's 'Have a Little Faith' - which I must say is good, but didn't shook my head like your Gargoyle.

I need the translation of what Marianne and Sayuri said to each other. Damn, you made it intriguing.

And I am not even finished

message 49: by Andrew

Andrew Hi Yas,

Glad to hear it. Keep reading!

Andrew

Yassemin Thanks for the accept.
I love your book so far :)

message 47: by Andrew

Andrew Hi Tonya,

Yes... I'm working on something new, but very slowly. No release date set (or even close) but it'll eventually come.

Andrew

message 46: by Tonya

Tonya I took your book The Gargoyle out of my local library and read it in a day, maybe two...I absolutely fell in love with the book so much that I just recently got it back out and I have started reading it again. For some reason, I felt the strongest sense of deja vu while I was reading it (especially the parts with Marianne Engel).
Thank you so much for writing this excellent book.

Also, I was wondering if you were working on any more books? I'm just curious because I am anxiously awaiting your next novel! I can't wait!

message 45: by Andrew

Andrew Thank you, Lee. I appreciate that.

message 44: by Lee

Lee I got your book for my '08 Christmas from my parents. I was only 13 but The Gargoyle has stayed one of my favourite books for these past two years, I just love how you weaved so many different love stories into the central one. It's simply beautiful and breathtaking and I love your writing.

message 43: by Andrew

Andrew Hi Ann Katrine,

Really kind words. Thank you!

Andrew

Ann Katrine Kristensen Thank you so much for creating such an amazing book. It changed the way I see myself, and I still think about it almost every day even though I read it back in 2008 when it first came to Denmark. Since then I have picked up another copy of the book in Canada where I have lived for a year as an exchangestudent. It is a wonderful book, and it kept me captivated from the first line to the last. I cried, and laughed, and was angry and happy! Every part of your book touched me deeply. Thank you! I will be in line when your next book hits the stores!!

message 41: by Andrew

Andrew Thanks Margarida.

Margarida Congratulations for writing such a marvellous book. :)
