So this creep is kidnapping people and putting them into dungeons, which are a little bigger than their bodies and made up of a bunch of blocks. The blocks can push in using different patterns to basically force you into a contorted position for hours, days, years...

Whenever I read this sort of thing, I always wonder where the people get the money. Who has the money to develop this technology?

Like Jigsaw. Where did that guy get the money to buy like a dozen abandoned facilities, and enough money to probably create some kind of weird shell corporations so that they couldn't be traced back to him right away? I don't even have enough money to create a pseudonym, and that's pretty much free. The best I can do is to steal an extra sheet of Hi My Name Is stickers whenever I see one loose on a convention table, and even that doesn't take you TOO far, most people want more than your name, written by you on a sticker, to give you a sizable loan, it turns out.
