This is the first show in which Rick Eid serves as Executive Producer/Show Runner, replacing series creator Matt Olmstead who departed after the previous season.

Goofs
Mykelti Williamson returns as Denny Woods. He is now the "independent auditor" for the entire department, yet he initially still wears the CPD uniform and rank of a Lieutenant. In Grasping for Salvation (2017), he was dismissed for misconduct that resulted in the wrongful conviction of a murder suspect. This is a suspension of disbelief akin to that of Voight being arrested and convicted then rehired and promoted, except that there was no motive shown for Woods as there had been for Voight.

Jay...the do-gooder

I am SO incredibly tired of Jay's moral conscience looming over everyone, especially Voight. Jay's like his brother on Chicago Med...gotta do the right thing and definitely lord it over everyone else. Writers...stop it....
