Multiple Automated Health Literacy Assessments of Written Health Information: Development of the SHeLL (Sydney Health Literacy Lab) Health Literacy Editor v1

We have also completed extensive user testing of the SHe LL Health Literacy Editor with health staff, which is reported separately (Ayre et al, unpublished data). User-testing sought to evaluate and improve acceptability and usability, help prioritize additional features, and identify training needs. It is important to emphasize that the SHe LL Health Literacy Editor does not replace more comprehensive health literacy guidelines.
