In 🇱🇧#Lebanon, many children face a lifetime without official documentation, leading to significant barriers in accessing education, healthcare, and other basic services. Norwegian Refugee Council's legal team is working to address this issue. In 2023 alone, NRC’s ICLA team received around 50 calls from Lebanese families seeking support in the birth registration process. By providing legal counsel and financial assistance, NRC helps families overcome the challenges of obtaining legal documents.

UNICEF USA recently reported the results of all humanitarian action taken in 2023 — results that were achieved alongside partners in the course of responding to 412 new or ongoing humanitarian crises in 107 countries, sometimes in very challenging operating environments.
