  • ModiScript: An esoteric programming language

    -

    Created as a project for the compiler design course.
    "ModiScript" is an esoteric language created with the sole intention of making use of quotes by our beloved PM Narendra Modi. The star feature of this language is that the language consists entirely of remarkable statements made by the PM. The language is dynamically typed and turing complete, sprinkled with words of wisdom by our PM.
    ModiScript also features in the Wikipedia's list of esoteric programming languages!

    The objective of this hackathon was to build a product prototype using Watson's API's.
    We utilized the Sentiment analysis and tone analyzer API's of Watson and worked on it to build an aspect level sentiment engine. This was used to provide valuable insights to restaurant owners based on Zomato reviews.

    A 24 hour hackathon organized by awesummly.
    The teams had to pick one of the 3 problem statements and present a solution. The problems and our solutions were:
    Pronoun resolution : Used stanford's Core NLP.
    topic extraction : Using LDA along with customized heuristics.
    generative summarization : Used sequence to sequence GRU model with attention.
    Our team was able to solve all 3 problems and were declared as winners.

  • Pragyaan - Hackathon 2017 : Third place

    A 24 hour hackathon conducted by NASA in association with SAP. Our team built a predictive model for fighting wildfires, using MODIS satellite data from NASA.
