When George had his first health scare, I realized the shortcomings of traditional pet food.
When George had his first health scare, I realized the shortcomings of traditional pet food.
Everything started with my dog George. After adopting him, my pre-George life started to take a back seat. He needed what all dogs need: time, attention, training, exercise, vet care, and food — I had a million questions. Hundreds of trips down the pet aisle later, I couldn't find a brand that I felt completely confident feeding my dog — with clean ingredients, no processing, balanced supplements, easy to use, and that my dog absolutely loved.
So, I decided to build my own. I founded Maev with the belief that raising a dog shouldn't be so difficult. Maev is my solution to the pet food aisle’s core issue: lack of clean, high-quality ingredients and ease. At Maev, we work with PhD veterinary nutritionists to elevate the daily rituals of dog care and fill every bowl with the best possible nutrition.
