Submission deadline

The microbiome is increasingly recognized as playing a pivotal role in human health and disease. This Collection highlights a series of articles detailing curated metagenomic domains, including gut, skin, and oral microbiota communities. Datasets are presented without hypotheses or conclusions, and analyses should focus on validating the dataset to ensure reliability and quality for reuse in the community.

For all datasets that contain data from participants, please complete our Human Data Checklist at the time of submission (https://www.nature.com/documents/sdata-sensitive-data-checklist.docx) and supply a copy with the manuscript files.
