Thanks to the hands-on foundation they're building now, career and technical education students naturally thrive at Penn College. Here are a few of the reasons why.
Just for graduating from a state-approved CTE program, students earn a $2,000 annual scholarship. The award renews for up to two years for an associate's and up to four for a bachelor's. (For Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut residents)
Graduates from any state-approved CTE program who enroll at Penn College can earn credits by testing out of any 100- or 200-level course.
Students also have the opportunity to earn additional credit by testing out of advanced courses, passing competency assessments, and through licensure or specific work or life situations.
If a student's school doesn’t already have a formal pathway with us, they’ll be awarded three credits just by meeting Career & Technical Education Student Scholarship requirements. They can apply them to a bachelor's degree right away or start with an associate's and use them if they advance into a bachelor's.
(For Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut residents)
