Drew Jacobs

The American country vocalist Drew Jacobs was born in Port Huron, Michigan, on November 15, 1996. An aspiring musician since his early teens, he began writing songs as a high school student and made his official debut with a country makeover of the Justin Timberlake pop hit "Can't Stop the Feeling!" Released in 2016, "Can't Stop the Feeling!" was followed by an original single, "Damn Good Night," which became a Top 40 hit on the iTunes chart. An EP of the same title, Damn Good Night, arrived before 2016 came to a close, and Jacobs returned the following year with a full-length debut album, Got Me Like Whoa. The tracks "Redneck Rockstar" and "Missin' and Wishin'" became viral hits, eventually earning more than 15 million streams on Spotify alone. A collection of romantic cover songs, Love Songs, was released in 2018, followed by another record of original material, History, in 2020. During the two years that followed, Drew Jacobs released a number of one-off singles, including 2021's "God's Country" and 2022's "Broadway Girls." Although both songs found popularity on streaming services, "God's Country" became a genuine radio hit during the final months of 2022, when the song cracked the Billboard Hot 100 and even reached Number 8 on the Hot Rock Songs chart. Another standalone track, "Son of a Sinner," was released that year and went gold.
