Jacob Karlzon

Jacob Karlzon, one of Europe’s most prominent jazz pianists, continues to impress with his unique blend of jazz, pop, classical music and electronic elements.
With albums like “Four Elements” and 'Wanderlust', Karlzon once again demonstrates his ability to push musical boundaries and create profound soundscapes. His technical skill and emotional expression make every performance an unforgettable experience.

Jacob Karlzon was born in 1970 in Jönköping and has established himself as one of Sweden's most dynamic and innovative pianists. He has a long and successful career behind him, with an impressive discography and countless international collaborations.
Karlzon has collaborated with stars like Dominic Miller, Billy Cobham, Norma Winstone, Gino Vannelli, Viktoria Tolstoy, Nils Landgren and Till Brönner to name a few.

Whilst he has a growing reputation as an ensemble performer, his personal projects have also received great recognition. In 2010 he was awarded the Swedish Django d'Or and voted Jazz Musician of the Year. In 2012 he was added to the Steinway Artist roster, an international recognition of excellence and in 2015 was acclaimed Jazz-group of the Year in the Swedish Radio’s audience poll.

Jacob Karlzon's music takes the listener on a journey through different moods and landscapes, always with a strong sense of presence and authenticity.
