Adventure Club

Canadian electronic duo Adventure Club offer a mix of slick EDM and floor-rumbling dubstep in the vein of producers like Tiësto and Skrillex. After introducing themselves with a series of successful remixes in the early 2010s, they focused on their own material, blending the sounds of their inspirations on releases like 2013's Calling All Heroes and 2016's full-length Red//Blue. By the end of the decade, they were well established within the global electronic community and in 2022 released their second full-length album, Love//Chaos. Montreal natives Christian Srigley and Leighton James first met in high school where they played in a pop-punk band together. Eventually shifting into electronic music, they introduced their Adventure Club project in 2011 finding some success with dubstep remixes for acts like Brand New, Thrice, and Young Jeezy. As a live act they toured across North America in 2012 with no official product yet available, while 2013 saw them land gigs at the Ultra festivals in both Miami and Seoul, South Korea. That same year they released their debut EP, Calling All Heroes, featuring guest spots from vocalist Yuna and EDM producer the Kite String Tangle. The song "Wonder" featured the latter and hit Canada's Top 40. Their full-length debut, Red//Blue, arrived in late 2016 and included appearances by Delaney Jane, DJ DallasK, and the electro-pop duo Sondar. Though most active with their own material, they still occasionally remixed other artists like Kehlani and Virtual Self over the next few years. "MakeDamnSure," a 2019 collaboration with Modern Machines and Saint Slumber, was followed a few months later by "Next Life" with Crankdat and Krewella. A deluge of singles appeared over the next two years, including 2020's "High Like This" featuring Dia Frampton, and 2021's "Colorblind" with Dayseeker, both of which later appeared on Adventure Club's second album, Love//Chaos, in early 2022. Remix work for Łaszewo and Loud Luxury followed, as did their own 2023 collaborations with Codeko ("Feels Like You") and Delaney Jane ("How Do I Say Goodbye").
