Bingo Players

Buoyant, colorful electro-house is Bingo Players' stock-in-dancefloor-trade. Launched in 2006 with the Sonic Stomp EP, Bingo Players -- originally consisting of Dutch DJs/producers Maarten Hoogstraten and Paul Bäumer -- quickly became known for their commercial house tracks and equally vibrant remixes. The duo's pared-down sound grew increasingly layered, more rush-inducing, and reliant upon clever vocal samples, exemplified by "Cry (Just a Little)" (2011), a Top Ten pop hit in the Netherlands. "Get Up (Rattle)" (2012), a collaboration with Far East Movement, gave them a second Top 20 hit. Before he died of cancer in 2013, Bäumer urged Hoogstraten to continue Bingo Players, and Hoogstraten has obliged with dozens of singles that include the charting belter "Knock You Down" (2014), a suspenseful remix of the early single "Devotion" (2020), the pop-flavored "Static Body" (2023), and the Fatman Scoop collaboration "Our House" (2024).
