Mook Boy

Slinging tales of street hustling with a slick flow, Mook Boy is a prominent figure in the Florida underground. Active since the early 2010s, he made a breakthrough toward the end of the decade with King Titus III, his first release to register on the Billboard charts. Self-made, he has operated his own label, Fly Goon Music Group, aka FGMG. The rapper started building his vast discography with the 2012 release of King Titus. A sequel followed in 2013, but he was especially prolific in 2014 with at least four titles to his credit. Mook Boy reached a wider audience a few years later when "Juvy," off the 2016 tape Tinted Windows & Testimonies, was promoted with a video featuring Bhad Bhabie. Commercial momentum continued to slowly build with the 2017 releases Mookaveli and Helicopter Handwriting, the former of which contained verses from Plies, Maino, and Quavo, easily Mook Boy's highest-profile collaborations to that point. The third King Titus volume arrived in 2019, entering Billboard's Independent Albums chart at number 18. It also hit the publication's Heatseekers round-up and a couple sales-based genre charts.
