Raggasonic
French ragga group Raggasonic featured Frenchie (Francois Allegre), Big Red (Stéphane Joaquim), and Daddy Mory (Mory Samaké). They debuted in the early '90s, signed to the Virgin label in their home country, and released two albums later in the decade. Raggasonic, issued in 1995, peaked at number 15 on the French albums chart. The same year, they appeared beside the likes of Air, La Funk Mob, and DJ Cam on the first Source Lab compilation. Raggasonic 2 followed in 1997 and reached number 32. The group broke up in 1998 and were anthologized six years later with Rude Best Of: 95-99. Raggasonic reunited in 2009 and made a proper reappearance in 2012 on the PIAS label, where they released Raggasonic 3.
