DillanPonders

Appealing to stoned revelers, yearning romantics, and introspective loners alike, DillanPonders is a remarkably prolific rapper with enough stylistic versatility to adapt to myriad production styles ranging from raucous to atmospheric. The Toronto native made his debut in the early 2010s, and with tracks such as the blaring, trap-styled "Stamina" attained enough clout to be featured in XXL magazine's 2016 feature "10 Canadian Artists You Should Know." Before the end of the decade, he had well over a dozen solo projects to his credit, including Retox (the source of "Stamina"), along with No Mans Land and Knowhere, both of which contain tracks quickly streamed over a million times. Dillan hit another gear in 2020 with Because We're Alive, a more commercial set that paid off when "King of the Town" and the Ruby Waters collaboration "Jungle" became two of his most-played songs. In 2022, he was behind the EP-length Mushrooms & Melodies, the full-lengths Album Mode and Album Mode, Vol. 2, and a slew of singles highlighted by "Planet Ponders." Numerous loose cuts followed in 2023.
