Loui

Atlanta rapper Loui started out as an independent talent and quickly found viral success with his 2019 track "Shake Dat (Come Here Girl)." He signed on with Run-iT-Up Records for the release of his 2020 project Wass' Goin, and collaborated with artists like DJ Chose, Lil Jay, and Saweetie on subsequent singles. Loui grew up in the College Park region of Atlanta, and spent his early teen years listening to Southern rappers like T.I. and Slim Thug. After pursuing basketball for a time, he turned his attention to music, releasing his earliest tracks in 2018. His 2019 single "Shake Dat" caught on in a big way via social media, and quickly called for a TikTok-specific remix featuring Lil Jay. Over the course of 2020, Loui released a re-recorded version of "Shake Dat," several other singles, and two mixtapes, Sincere and Wass' Goin. The following year brought Loui even more attention with his most-streamed track up until that point, "Talkin' Bout" featuring guest vocalist Saweetie.
