86TVs

English indie outfit 86TVs are known for their hooky, emotive brand of post-punk-inspired rock. Arising out of the ashes of the Maccabees, the group released their eponymously titled debut full-length, 86TVs, in 2024. Formed in 2018 in South London, 86TVs features siblings singer/guitarist Felix White and guitarist Hugo White, their brother, bassist Will White, along with drummer Jamie Morrison. The group came together in the wake of the 2017 breakup of Felix and Hugo's longtime group the Maccabees. The White brothers began writing songs together, eventually bringing on board drummer Morrison, who had previously worked with the Noisettes and Stereophonics, among others. The band debuted in 2023 with the EP You Don't Have to Be Yourself Right Now, featuring the single "Worn Out Buildings." In August 2024, they delivered their full-length debut album, 86TVs, which included the previously released songs along with the singles "Spinning World," "Someone Else's Dream," and "Higher Love."
