Canadian DJ BAMBII blends house, R&B, and the dancehall and reggae of her Caribbean heritage into her own sultry, atmospheric style. Building upon a series of tours and headlining appearances in Paris, Germany, New York, and Montreal, BAMBII delivered her 2023 debut EP, Infinity Club. Born Kirsten Azan, BAMBII grew up in Toronto in a family of Caribbean descent. Interested in music from a young age, she attended an arts high school. However, it was while working for non-profit organizations that she began curating music events and developed a passion for DJ'ing. Her work caught on and she soon found herself touring in support of artists like Mykki Blanco, Kelela, and BbyMutha. She also launched her own Toronto-based JERK event, bringing the dance party to Montreal, Los Angeles, and New York. In 2023, she released her debut EP, Infinity Club, which featured appearances by singer Aluna, London MC Lady Lykez, DJ/producer Lamsi, and others.
