Holy Terror

Following his exit from Agent Steel in 1986, guitarist Kurt Colfelt changed the spelling of his name to Kilfelt and started a new band called Holy Terror with vocalist Keith Deen, second guitarist Mike Alvord, bassist Floyd Flanary, and drummer Joe Mitchell. Unlike the half-and-half approach pursued by Agent Steel, Holy Terror dove headlong into the thrash metal sweepstakes, as dictated by the Bay Area epicenter of the day, releasing two albums through Music for Nations in 1987's Terror and Submission and 1988's Mind Wars. However, neither one distinguished the band from the flailing masses of competitors, and in 1989 Holy Terror moved to Seattle (minus Deen and Alvord), where they carried on for a while before changing name to Shark Chum and shifting their attentions to punk rock.
