Double Dee

Italian dance duo Double Dee aka Davide Domenella and Donato "Dany" Losito formed in Bologna at the height of the Eurodance phenomenon in 1990 – just as Snap!'s "The Power" was sending shockwaves all over Europe – and scored a huge hit with piano house belter "Found Love." Initially released in 1990, "Found Love" – officially credited to Double Dee featuring Dany – catapulted to Number 1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, Number 24 in Italy, and charted in other countries, but went further on being re-issued in 1995, going all the way to Number 33 in the UK. In Argentina, a cover of the track called "Fue Amor" became a hit for Jazzy Mel in the early 1990s. "Found Love" was featured on Double Dee's eponymous debut album of 1991, which also spawned the singles "Don't You Feel," (1991) which went to Number 9 in Italy, and "Hey You" (1992) which went to Number 18. Double Dee released another string of singles during their lifespan, including "People Get Up!" which went to Number 15 in Italy in 1992, 1995's "Come Into My Life" and 2001's "You," which was released in France, where it went to Number 24 and was featured on French TV series Popstars. In 2003, Double Dee achieved a Number 58 chart position in the UK with "Shining." Danny Losito began a solo career in 2004 but the pair reunited in April 2010 to put out the "Why Don't You Feel" single in collaboration with Luca Guerrieri. They released a brand new album eight years later, their second one to date, called Dèjavù.
