BREAKERZ
Formed in Japan in 2007, Breakerz is a J-Rock trio featuring vocalist Daigo and guitarists / keyboardists Shinpei and Akihide. Since there is not a bassist or drummer in the band’s official line-up, they bring in different bassists and drummers for recording sessions and live performances. Best known for providing opening and closing music for several episodes of the anime series Detective Conan (a.k.a. Case Closed), the group has recorded several albums outside of the anime field. After signing to Zain Records, they released their self-titled debut album in 2007, followed by Crash & Build (2007), Big Bang (2008), Fighterz (2009), Go (2011), Ø-Zero (2015), and X (2017). Switching over to the Being, Inc. label, Breakerz issued the album With You in 2021. In between albums, Breakerz also released several mini-albums, two dozen singles, and eight live DVDs. They’ve also released compilation albums including 2022’s Breakerz Best – Singlez.
