Damso
Op negenjarige leeftijd vlucht William Kalubi met zijn familie voor het geweld in Congo. Het gezin vestigt zich in België, waar hij in 2006 onder de artiestennaam Damso gaat rappen. Hij trekt de aandacht met het nummer "Poséidon", dat hem een platencontract oplevert en in 2016 resulteert in het debuutalbum Batterie faible. De plaat haalt meteen de tweede plaats in de Waalse charts en ook in Frankrijk wint Damso aan populariteit. De daarop volgende albums Ipséité (2017), Lithopédion (2018), Qalf (2020) en Qalf Pt.2 (2021) zijn allemaal goed voor een eerste plaats in de Waalse en Franse albumlijsten.
