LUNAFLY

Lunafly, stylized as LUNAFLY, emerged as a South Korean trio with their debut featuring members Sam Carter (vocals, guitar, violin, composer), Yun (Han Seung Yun) (vocals, guitar, drums, composer), and Teo (vocals, piano, bass, percussion, composer). Their official debut occurred on September 27, 2012, under Nega Network, introducing their self-composed song "How Nice Would It Be." The release of their first domestic single album, Super Hero, on September 27 was accompanied by the music video for "How Nice Would It Be," which swiftly claimed the top spot on South Korean music streaming platforms.  Their second single "Clear Day, Cloudy Day," which appeared on December 5, was followed by full-length album, Fly To Love, on April 3, 2013, which landed at number 16 on the Korean charts. In 2014, the group collaborated with Miryo of K-pop group Brown Eyed Girls on "Special Guy" which served as the title track from their debut EP, peaking at number 14. Shortly after, Lunafly embarked on a crowd-funded Latin America tour, selling out venues in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil, and Costa Rica. They also toured Europe, visiting Portugal, France, Romania, and Italy. After Teo’s unexpected departure, Jin (drummer) and Yub (guitarist) were added to the group and the rebranded quartet Lunafly Re:Born toured Guatemala and Bolivia, venturing to North America for the first time with a performance in Canada. Following a brief hiatus, Lunafly made a return in 2016 with "This Isn't You" (너답지 않게) before ultimately disbanding later in the year.
