Database for cancer updated

How many people develop cancer in Germany every year? What are the survival rates for bowel cancer? How have breast cancer figures changed over a period of 20 years?

These and many other questions are answered in the updated database of the Centre for Cancer Registry Data (ZfKD). It contains cancer statistics from 1999 to 2022, and mortality statistics up to 2023. Individual tables can be compiled, depending on the diagnosis and age group, for new cases, deaths, prevalence and survival rates.

The ZfKD evaluates data on cancer in Germany and calculates important key figures. A particular focus is on analysing trends and on regular reporting.
