    Humayra Suleman Altered Photographs Front cover This is the photograph I used for my front cover; I used the

    software Adobe Photoshop CS3. I used a variety of effects onto it and below is a list of the effects and tools I had used in order to achieve this photographic result: Quick selection tool Lasso tool Photo filter 3 Photo filter 1 Brightness/Contrast Selective colour 1 Vibrance 1 Exposure 1 Levels 1 Brightness/Contrast

    For this image I did not require to edit the photo because it was only contents page photograph, and so I had to use the quick select tool as well as the lasso tool to carefully cut the image from its original background. On this page I had also used an image I took of a model. However, I did not alter or change it anyw= way. I left the photograph looking like that.

    Double page spread I used this image on the double page spread because it was a long shot and it looked interesting. I copied this image and placed it next to this one in the background, to give a funky cooling effect to the double page spread.The effects I had used on the photo are below: Lasso tool Quick selection tool Brightness/Contrast (excessive amounts)
