MetaQuery Introduction
MetaQuery which was a standalone Informatica tool, is now embedded in Support Console. This is a tool to query against PowerCenter repository for key properties in sessions, workflows, and mapping objects.

MetaQuery License
MetaQuery is available to all Informatica Customers with no additional cost.

4.1 Default port number is 25000 and you can change this during the installation. For more details on installation, see Pre-Requisites and Installation Guide. 4.2 Default user-name and password for Support Console is admin / admin.

Once you get the details, you can export it to CSV format or get it as an email attachment.

Click Test, to test the repository connection. Note: When the test connection is successful, then it will display the Repository name and if it is Versioned or Non- Versioned.
Click Save to save the Repository Connection details. Click Connect to connect to the repository. You can also connect to an existing repository through Actions.
To delete a repository, click on Reports >> MetaQuery tab. Highlight the repository that you wish delete. And under Actions Menu, click Remove Repository as shown below.
Alternatively, you can also double click on the repository to connect to it.

To get the details of the property, Select the property and click Get Details.
For Example, Select Target Load Type under Session. To filter your search, you can choose to run the MetaQuery on a specific Folder. Depending on the property, different parameters are displayed. You can choose the Value(s) accordingly.
The description of the selected property will be displayed against Description. For Versioned repository, some properties may not produce correct results. A Warning will be displayed and a small red cross is displayed against the property name.
In the Filter section, you can filter the results by using the following: Keywords
Filter by Column: To add or remove columns from the results page, click in the
icon.
From the Column Selection dialog, you can choose to make a column visible or invisible.
The results are displayed page wise. To go to a certain page, enter the page number or navigate to the that page using the arrow keys.
You can export the results to CSV file by clicking on the You can also email this result by clicking on the attachment to user who is logged in.
