Verb to be
O verbo to be significa ser ou estar. tambm usado para exprimir a idade.
e.g. I am fine. (Eu estou bem.) / You are ten years old. (Tu tens 10 anos.)

A forma negativa constri-se acrescentando not a seguir ao verbo.


e.g. You are not ten years old. / Youre not ten years old. (Tu no tens dez anos.)

A forma interrogativa constri-se colocando o verbo antes do sujeito da frase.
