    ANIMAL TRIVIA CONTEST 2009

    MECHANICS:

    1. This trivia contest is open to all college students of De La Salle Araneta University, most
    especially Veterinary Medicine students.

    2. The aim of this contest is to gain, boost, and share the students’ know-how about the basic
    information and specifics about animals. All of the questions used in this trivia contest were
    based on diverse sources and references.

    3. Each group is composed of 2 persons. Each group must pay a registration fee on or before the
    contest proper in order for them to play a part.

    4. The trivia is divided into three rounds; the easy, average, and difficult round. All rounds consist of
    10 questions in which it is answerable with these following symbols [x, □, ○, Δ ]. Furthermore,
    some questions are answerable through identification.

    5. After the end of each round, the scorer will tally the scores of the different groups. And the group
    that has the highest scores will step into the next round.

    • Top 10 groups will step into the average round

    • Top 5 groups will step into the final round

    6. If there are circumstances wherein there is a tie between groups, a tie breaker question/s will be
    done.

    7. We will provide sheets of paper to each group where they can write their answers. Every answer
    sheets should have their respective name for identification, if there are circumstances that they
    didn’t write their group name, their answers will be automatically rejected.

    8. Every question will be announced twice.

    9. Students will be given 10 seconds to write their own answer in the provided paper. We
    meticulously put into practice that after the 10 seconds time limit, students should pass their
    answer sheets to any member of the organization assigned for collecting the said papers. Late
    submission of answer sheets will not be accepted.
    10. Groups caught coaching or cheating will automatically be eliminated.

    11.The winner of the said contest will win a price
