Green Peas Uttapa

A non-traditional way of making the famous South Indian uttapa. An ideal snack.

Ingredients 1 teacup green peas 1/2 teacup rice flour 1/2 teacup gram flour (besan 2 pinches soda bi-carb ! green chillies" chopped 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder ghee or oil for frying salt to taste For the topping grated carrots grated cheese chopped tomatoes chilli powder Method #rush the green peas in a mi$er. Add both the flours" green chillies" turmeric powder" soda bicarb and salt and make a batter like dosa by adding enough water. Spread a little batter round %& mm. (2' in diameter on a ta(a. Sprinkle a little topping and smear a little ghee on it. *hen cooked on one side" turn it o(er and cook the other side for a few seconds. ,epeat for the remaining batter and topping. Ser(e hot with butter.
