Introduction
This document describes how to change the IP address of a Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Publisher.

Components Used
The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions: CUCM Versions 7.1+ Through 8.6.2 No Domain Name System (DNS) Configuration The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
5. Navigate to the CLI and enter set network gateway <IP Address of new GW> at the admin prompt.
6. Perform reboots and restarts as required when prompted. 7. Navigate to the CLI and enter set network ip eth0 <New IP Address> <New Subnet Mask> at the admin prompt.
8. Perform reboots and restarts as required when prompted. 9. Wait approximately 15 to 20 minutes for everything to reboot and come back up. 10. Log in to the CLI and the console GUI with the new IP address. 11. Enter show network cluster in the CLI window and verify that the new address is listed.
12. Open the Unified Reporting tool and use the Unified CM Database Status menu item in order to verify the settings. Ensure that you click Generate New Report every time that you use this page.
13. Verify that the new IP address appears everywhere it should in order to ensure that the IP address change is successful.
