SHOWCASE PRODUCTION
What an amazing evening last Thursday was with our Showcase Production.
The class items were polished; the practice and work that had gone into the preparation was a credit to the teachers, student teachers and the students themselves. A massive thank you to all involved.
It was great to see the support from the school community. Unfortunately not everyone got to see the show as there was a limit on the number of tickets available, we apologise for this. There is a fire safety number for the Aranui High School hall, which made this out of our control.
We had the show videoed by Michael, a school parent. Michael is going to make up a CD that will be available for sale. Before he does that he is looking for any photos or videos that parents may have taken. If you want to have these included please email to admin@northnewbrighton.school.nz or pop into the office with them on a pen drive.
We require these before Tuesday 1 st July please.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
The mid year Parent Teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday 1 st July and Thursday 3 rd July.
Today all Year 4 - 8 students have been given a form for parents to complete the timeframe that suits you and your family.
Please return these forms to the office before Thursday 26 th June.
Year 1 3 students will only be given a form from their teacher if they require an interview.

FERRYMEAD VISIT
Our Year 1 3 students will be visiting Ferrymead on the 26 th or 27 th June. The cost of this visit is $9.00 for entry to Ferrymead. The PTA are paying for the cost of transport to Ferrymead. IF YOUR CHILD IS IN ROOM 3, 5 OR 12 AND GOING TO FERRYMEAD ON THEY WILLNOT BE ABLE TO HAVE A SAUSAGE.
Thank you so much to the PTA who continue to support our students in so many different ways.
Please pay the $9.00 per student to the school office before Tuesday 24 th June. You may wish to pay this via the internet.
SCHOOL DONATIONS
Donation envelopes have gone home today to families. Whilst school donations are not compulsory, the school very much appreciates when families pay them. Donations help support our school programmes that Ministry of Education funding does not cover. We offer extra Maths support, a Rainbow Reading Programme, and extra assistance to some of our students.
On this envelope you will notice our photocopying fee. This is requested to be paid by each student to help with annual photocopying costs. Thank you to the families who have paid this already.
ANNUAL REPORT
We have received our Annual report from BDO Spicer, our auditors. This is available for viewing in the school office.
Our weekly sausage sizzle fundraiser is on every Thursday. The cost is $1.50 per sausage and orders need to be at the school office before 8.50am on Thursday mornings. This years fundraising will assist our Year 5 8 students ski trip to Porter Heights, in September.

WAVERIDERS
Well done to the following students who have moved on the Waverider Board.
You may have noticed we currently have parents monitoring our junior school gate. They are doing so to help keep our children safe. This position is purely voluntary and we are currently seeking more volunteers to help. If you are able to assist one day a week please leave your name with the office. If we dont have enough volunteers we will not be able to continue with this.
NORTH NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL BOOK 1916-2014
This term we are starting to put together a book celebrating 98 years of North New Brighton School.
Did you come to North New Brighton School? Maybe your neighbour, grandparents or parents did? We are looking for past pupils who may like to contribute a memory to be published. If you are interested please put your thoughts in writing and either email to school or drop in to the office. We need to have these to us by Friday 4 th July please.
Each week we will post a photo on Facebook from days gone by. You may remember the event or someone in the photo. We are keen to hear from you if you do.
Movie Afternoons will be held for the seniors on 26 th June and the juniors on the 4 th July. Thank you to the hardworking PTA, who continues to support our students in a variety of ways.
