Sub Headings: The title THIS WEEK notifies


the reader what the magazine will be featuring in
this issue. The sub heading is in big bold writing to
stand out to the reader so it is noticeable.

Main Image: In the main image there is a band


of three that are doing different facial
expressions to show their emotions. For example
one of the members it says on his body WHY
DO I BOTHER which portrays the genre of rock,
as the stereotype of rock is to be rebellious and
stand out from everyone. Furthermore, there is
also a rough looking dog which also implies the
genre of rock. Their appearance reflects the
genre in a huge way as they are wearing dark
makeup which is linked with what most rock
bands wear.

Rule of Thirds: Rule of thirds has been


used on the contents because the main
image is in the centre which is
positioned their especially to attract
the audience.

Fonts and colour scheme: The fonts are


nothing extraordinary but it still has the
effect of looking quite gloomy and dull
which represents the genre of rock. The
colours used which are black, white and
red symbolise the mood of the magazine
of being quite dreary and bleak and this
further relates to the genre of the
magazine.

Date and issue number: The date is


located at the top left of contents page
to tell audience how up to date this
magazine is.

Page Numbers: The page numbers are in


a bold font to stand out next to the page
name so it is easier for the audience to
read and navigate to the page they want.
