    Experience - 06+ to <10 yrs

    Education - M.E. / M. Tech - Mechanical or Aerospace


    Purpose:
    Responsible for aero CFD modeling and analysis of full vehicle models for aerodynamic
    force prediction and front end air flow using the following CFD commercial softwares

    Pre-Processors ANSA / Star CCM+

    Volume meshing T-Grid

    Solver Fluent / Star CCM+

    Position tasks and responsibilities:


    Execution and delivery of the projects in the area of Aero CFD

    Understanding vehicle program requirements & deliver the CFD results on-time
    with high quality

    Build CFD models

    CFD analysis for external aerodynamics and Front end air flow simulations for
    vehicle programs

    Optimization of the exterior shape and aero enablers to reduce drag

    Optimization of front end of the vehicle to meet air flow targets for cooling

    Report preparation and presentation to global team and discussion forums

    Knowledge:

    Strong in Aerodynamics & Fluid mechanics fundamentals

    Good knowledge in aerodynamic analysis for automotive vehicle

    Good knowledge in automobile sub-systems and its functions

    Skills:

    Good in ANSA, T-Grid and Fluent commercial tools

    Exposure to any other CFD Tools - Star CCM+ & EXA, etc.

    High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult

    High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with other

    Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area

    Experience:

    1 to 2 years in CFD modeling

    5 to 6 year in CFD analysis for aerodynamic force prediction and front end air
    flow

    Good understanding in aerodynamic performance for different automotive


    passenger vehicles

    Experience in executing the project independently and manage the deliveries to


    customers

    Experience in aero development or integration for automotive vehicles is an


    added advantage

    Competencies:

    Good in written communications and presentation skills

    Action oriented

    Customer Focus

    Good functional / technical skills
